Raised By The Meadow
Katie Daisy was raised by the birds and warm breezes of small-town
Lindenwood, Illinois, brought up among the other wildflowers with roots
planted deeply in the natural world.
She found her voice and honed her skills at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, graduating in 2009 and subsequently beginning an adventurous career as a freelance illustrator. She has licensed her work for a wide-reaching variety of products, and has a growing collection of vibrant murals around Central Oregon. Working in watercolor and acrylic paint, Katie strives to capture the magic, beauty, and joy of a life lived in harmony with nature.
Katie currently lives and works in the quaint mountain town of Sisters,
Oregon with her son Finn and two cats, Fig & Biscuit.

Where Creativity Blooms
Katie’s studio is a kaleidoscope of color and light: jars of paint, brushes, and wild blooms gathered from her garden. Each shade she mixes carries notes of the natural world, translating meadow hues and morning skies into paint and paper.

Rooted in the Prairie
The weathered barns and overgrown gardens of Katie’s Midwestern childhood still bloom in her work today. Those early days among sunlit fields taught her to see beauty in the ordinary... in a sprawling wheat field, a freshly-picked strawberry, and the gentle hush of a summer breeze.
